How My Cash Back Program Works
Buy any MLS® listed home in Victoria using my representation and I will write you a cheque for $1000 within one week of closing.
- In certain situations I can offer more cash back (usually a percentage of the buyer’s commission), for example: multiple properties or transactions in succession and pre-sale construction detached homes.
Why Offer Cash Back?
- Many real estate agents in Victoria spend thousands of dollars a month on highway billboards, mail out flyers, social media ads, etc. My business is based on referrals from past clients and word of mouth. I choose to give my marketing budget back to my clients to generate business and more referrals.
- Larger teams and bigger names in town “farm out” their leads to junior agents and do a commission split and make up the earnings on volume. I adopt a similar strategy, of volume, yet pride myself on being available and present in every step of the process for my clients.
- Home prices in Victoria have more than doubled in the past 15-20 years, yet commission rates remain largely the same (a buying agent earns over $13,000 on Victoria’s 2018 benchmark priced home). With modern technology such as DocuSign, MLS alerts and Bluetooth lockboxes our jobs as agents has become more efficient. I still offer exceptional service and due diligence while also offering cash back.
